"A girl  should be two things: classy and fabulous"
- Coco Chanel

One of the most appealing aspects of a sorority is its social life, and here at Tri Delta we strive to have one of the best social atmospheres on campus! Our strong social bond is shown through our yearly participation in many Greek-wide and campus-wide events. Here are a few social activities we participate in:

Sisterhoods: One of Tri Delta's main purposes is promoting lifelong bonds of friendship and sisterhood. Sisterhoods are Deltas only events that (Tri Delta members only) and are held within the chapter house as well as other places. These events give the women an opportunity to come together in a fun social atmosphere that is created to continue friendships as well as build new ones. Past examples of sisterhoods have been:

Grey's Anatomy night - Ice Skating in the Winter - GameWorks night at the Arcade Mariners Baseball Games - Hypnotists - Movie Nights - Shopping Downtown Seattle - Boat Trips on the sound - BBQ's on Delta Beach

Grab-a-Dates & Exchanges: These fun-filled events give Tri Deltas a chance to get to know one another better while building strong relationships with others in the Greek Community. Often times sororities will pair up with fraternities and host an exchange event. These events range from baseball games to BBQ's and even renting out comedy clubs for the night. Exchanges can also be between two sororities. Grab-a-Dates are more centered on one chapter hosting an event, and each member invites one guest to participate with her! Some fun exchanges and Grab-a-Dates are:

Salsa Dancing Exchange - Finger/Body Painting Exchange- Ice Skating Grab-a-Date- Mariners Game Grab-a-Date- 80's themed Grab-a-Date to a Roller Skating Rink- Trips to Canada & the Beach- Scavenger Hunt Exchange- Sonics Game Exchange - Luau BBQ Exchange

Formals/Dance Functions: We hold three dances throughout the year - one each quarter. The Fall Quarter is usually directed towards the new freshmen and is a semi-formal dance held somewhere in Downtown Seattle. The next dance held during the Winter Quarter is a formal/semi-formal dance held somewhere more local. The third dance during Spring Quarter is a themed dance usually held at a fun location. For example, last year we went on a cruise for our nautical-themed spring dance. Usually fraternities host dances every quarter that many women of Tri Delta attend as well. Over the past year many women have gone to Vancouver, Canada, Seaside, Oregon, Downtown Seattle for the night, Portland, Oregon, Leavenworth, Washington, and many other fun locations!
